Association of Pickleball Professionals Names Jenny Klitch Senior Vice President, Pro Player Relations and Competition

Former MLP Commissioner and current regular on the APP Tour to serve as vital conduit to the sport’s professional players

The Association of Pickleball Professionals (APP) has named former Major League Pickleball (MLP) Commissioner Jenny Klitch as Senior Vice President, Pro Player Relations and Competition. A highly respected and regarded member of the pickleball community, Klitch will help foster a collaborative environment among the APP and the professionals to ensure the continued growth of the Tour, players and the sport of pickleball.

Klitch, a former WTA professional who recently served as her division’s captain for Team USA at the 2022 World Tennis Championships, was MLP’s first commissioner when the professional team-based pickleball league launched its inaugural season in 2021.

“I am honored to join the APP executive leadership team,” Klitch said. “We are seeing an explosion of premier talent at the highest level of professional pickleball competition, and I believe the APP is well positioned to define the future of the sport at a unique moment in pickleball history. I look forward to helping craft the structure and strategies to advance the careers of pro players and elevate the sport of pickleball.”

“We are very fortunate to have Jenny join our organization,” said Ken Herrmann, founder of the APP. “She’s a visionary leader with a demonstrated track record of developing impactful relationships with players and other vital stakeholders that will be invaluable as we continue to develop the kind of professional experience that our players have worked for and deserve. Her ability to connect with players and serve as an important advocate will be an incredible asset as part of our strategic vision.”
