Sarah Ansboury

A 5.5 tennis player, USPTA teacher and NCAA coach I found pickleball in 2014 and was instantly hooked. I entered my first national pickleball tournaments in 2015 and earned Gold and Silver at the September 2015 Tournament of Champions.

In November of that year, I medaled four times at the USAPA National Tournament including winning Gold in the Women’s Doubles Open with Gigi LeMaster. At the first US OPEN Pickleball Championship in Naples, Florida in April 2016 I earned five medals including Golds in the Pro Division Women’s Doubles with Christine McGraft and Mixed Doubles with Daniel Moore.

I now am the Pickleball Touring Professional and Director of Pickleball Instruction at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, SC. I am also the Education Consultant and Lead Clinician for the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR). PPR is the Official Education and Certification Partner of the USAPA and is dedicated to educating, certifying and serving pickleball teaching professionals and coaches around the world.

Patrick Smith

I was born and raised in Munich Germany. I came to the US in July of 2005 on a Full D1 Tennis Scholarship. After finishing my College Tennis Career I became a graduate Assistant Coach and earned an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship. I’m currently the CEO of a Hair transplant company based in Wichita, KS.

I started playing Pickleball in April of 2019 at Chicken and Pickle in Wichita to help my friend Jocelyn Devilliers out and fill the League he was running at the time. Three months later he and I played our first Pro Men’s Doubles event at the Chicago Open in 2019 and here we are two years later. It has been an amazingly fun start to a journey I would have never thought would happen.
